MC Creations acts as the data controller of Amoro AI. We process personal data in accordance with the GDPR and applicable Romanian legislation. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the mobile app Amoro AI. We operate under the European legislation on data protection. Our supervisory authority is Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP) in Romania. You have the right to lodge a complaint with ANSPDCP.

2. Data we collect

We may collect the following types of data:

  • Media you submit: The media you submit to the app to get a response to a chat.
  • Subscription details: An internal account identifier is created to store your subscription status. Additional payment or subscription information may be collected by Apple/Google when performing the purchase.
  • Device information: IP, device model, OS, app version and other device information may be collected by us or Apple/Google for analytics.
  • Onboarding questions: Our app may ask optional onboarding questions, such as age, sex, and other dating-related information, to personalize the user experience.

3. How we use your data

We use your data for the following reasons and on the following legal basis:

  • Media: The media you submit is processed as a screenshot of a chat. It is processed on our end to provide you with a response to the chat, which is the main feature of the app. Our legal basis is: execution of a contract.
  • Subscription details: Your internal account identifier, as well as your subscription information are used to manage your subscription. Our legal basis is: execution of a contract.

    Additionally, your app store may collect payment or subscription analytics automatically. This data allows us to track our analytics. Our legal basis is: legitimate interest.
  • Device information: We collect device information, such as OS and IP address, to monitor analytics and prevent abuse of our service. Additional device data may also be collected via your app store; more details are available in their privacy policy. Our legal basis is: legitimate interest.
  • Onboarding questions: On first launch, the app may ask optional onboarding questions, such as age, sex, and other dating-related information. Responses help tailor app functionality to the user’s profile and may also be used for internal, non-targeted analytics. Our legal basis is: execution of a contract and legitimate interest.

4. Data storage

Your uploaded media is uploaded securely to a private server operated by MC Creations. This server is physically located in Europe. Media is processed automatically in order to generate a temporary response, which is returned to the user. Then, the media is definitely deleted from the server within 24 hours. Media processing may involve additional cloud providers or third-party AI services. Account and subscription data are stored while your account is active and up to 10 years after in order to respect accounting laws. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us at contact@amoroai.app.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade any personal data. We may share limited technical or payment data with:

  • Payment processors (App Store, Google Play) for subscription handling.
In order to provide you with a chat analysis as expected, we may share your screenshot or your messages with:
  • Cloud LLM providers
  • Other third-party LLM and AI providers
These providers act as data processors on our behalf. Some may be located outside the European Union; in such cases, data transfers are protected using Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

6. Security

Our app uses data encryption, access control, and secure storage in order to protect your data. However, no online service can guarantee complete security.

7. Your rights

Based on the GDPR, you dispose of the following rights:

  • Access your data by requesting a copy.
  • Request the correction or deletion of your data.
  • Restrict or deny processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Request data portability, when possible.

To exercise these rights, send an email to contact@amoroai.app. We may request a proof of identity, and we'll reply within 1 month.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

8. Child confidentiality

Our app is not destined to users below the age of 16. We do not deliberately collect data from them.
If we become aware that we collected data inadvertently from a user below 16 years of age, we will immediately delete it.

9. Edits made to this policy

Users will be notified in-app whenever important changes are made. Continued use of the app after these changes constitutes an agreement with the new policy.
